This cabin is located on the shore of Garden Lake and its 100% Solar Powered. Just 8 1/2 miles east of Ely and 1 1/2 miles off the Fernberg Road on Garden Lake. It is a year around cabin that is beautifully built, quiet, relaxing, and very secluded. Perfect for a couple looking for a very private romantic lakeside vacation or a small family wanting a taste of Canoe Country. No need to bring bottled water as a result of a 300+ foot well. The BWCA is accessible by water, and Garden Lake is a wonderful spring fed lake great for fishing. A large dock is great for your boat and you can fish off the dock to your hearts content.
The cabin has a very open floor plan with the kitchen dining area and living room all connected around a wood burner. A wall of windows gives great views of the lake and nature. The owner who spent his winters here enjoyed his 4 legged neighbors who came to visit. The TV has Direct TV and the internet is limited and not for streaming just for checking emails as it is a hotspot provided by the owner. Please keep this in mind as the cabin is semi off grid. The bedroom off the living room has a full sized bed. The loft has 1 full and one twin bed + an air mattress.
This cabin is under new management so the old listing is not available but it had 57 five star reviews and has been available for guests for 20 years.
