Shagawa Lake

At the top of a rolling hill surrounded by 20 acres, sits a beautiful year-round one bedroom cabin. Built by one of Ely’s top craftsman, every need is met with rustic setting and a modern twist to a very comfortable cabin. The wall of windows brings in sunshine. Thunder rolls overhead during storms and snow falls softly outside in the winter. You are inside but it feels like you are one with the weather. Truly a romantic place to stay.

Trails End
This cabin is located on the shore of Garden Lake and its 100% Solar Powered. It is a year around cabin that is beautifully built, quiet, relaxing, and very secluded. Perfect for a couple looking for a very private romantic lakeside vacation or a small family wanting a taste of Canoe Country. No need to bring bottled water as a result of a 300+ foot well. The BWCA is accessible by water, and Garden Lake is a wonderful spring fed lake great for fishing. A large dock is great for your boat and you can fish off the dock to your hearts content.
Pattison House
Enjoy all that Ely and the Superior National Forrest has to offer from this centrally located classic 1920’s home in a quiet neighborhood. This home is simply and comfortably appointed with a blend of vintage and new. The main floor has original hardwood floors with a living room, dining room, bathroom, and a great fully equipped kitchen. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and a handy office with a desk and comfy chair. We packed the house with amenities to make your stay relaxing as you enjoy the surrounding sites – it’s the perfect location to decompress after a day of hiking, canoeing, or sightseeing! Burntside
The owner of this cabin is an artist. This home was designed by him and built with loving care. When you enter the cabin you are greeted by the grand room that includes a beautiful fireplace, a wall of windows looking over Burntside Lake, a gourmet kitchen, and even a piano. Imagine yourself fixing meals with a roaring fire and snow falling just outside the windows.
Fall Lake
First mill cabin built in Winton, MN. This wonderfully restored cabin sits on Fall Lake just outside of Ely. It offers a great view of the lake and access to year-round fun. A canoe and a kayak are yours to use. The yard has a fire pit, picnic table, deck, and dock.
Two comfortable beds (a queen and full) are in the bedroom along with a TV. A smaller half room has a twin bed. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and has all of the appliances you need to cook for you your gang. The kitchen is part of the open concept layout that includes dining/living room with comfortable seating around the TV – with a fire stick and internet.
Lazy Dog
The Lazy Dog Inn is a wonderful home decorated in the spirit where mid-century design meets a modern vibe. It is fun to browse and experience the tasteful art and endless detail that is in every room. This home fills the senses far more than a picture can depict. A bright and cheery kitchen welcomes you each morning where the smell of coffee and home cooked meals are yours for the making. Two charming bedrooms a top the staircase feature cozy and comfortable full and queen beds. A restful sleep beckons you. The open main floor combines living and dining areas.
The Loony Bin
This cabin, affectionately known as The Loony Bin, was recently remodeled with the guests in mind. All new appliances, flooring, washer and dryer, walk-in shower, bedding and towels allow the guests to feel a little bit spoiled during their stay.

The cabin has two bedrooms. One has a queen and the other two twins. The living room has a comfortable queen-sized pull-out bed. The living/kitchen/dining area is all one room. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to fix your meals at home.
Norway Pine
As you drive up to the cabin you immediately feel struck by the beauty of the north woods. The huge Norway Pines surround you in peace. Set on 5 acres with The State and National Forests as neighbors. This log sided cabin has one bedroom with a bunk bed on the main floor and the loft area has a king size bed. The main floor of the cabin has an open concept layout that includes kitchen, dining room and living room. Next to the cabin is a nicely furnished bunk house with 2 queen beds. In the basement is an office with a sofa bed and comfortable chairs. Follow a path into the woods and you will find a fun glass house complete with a full size bed and chairs (only available during summer months). You can observe woodsy animals or just relax.
Completely furnished. Linens, towels, cookware, internet, games, fire pit, patios, propane grill are all provided. Basically all you need to have fun.
